People often ask me why I entered this industry and became a financial professional. Like many people, I didn’t grow up knowing what I wanted to be or what I wanted to do with my career. In many ways, I stumbled upon this opportunity. With that being said, once I began this career, I was immediately inspired by the ability I had to sit down with complete strangers, listen to their needs, and talk with them about how to achieve their goals in life. 

I knew early on that this was the career for me.

My Role with Clients

I work with a diverse range of business owners, families, and individuals. While they each have unique circumstances, they share a consistent goal: they want to grow, preserve, and eventually transfer their hard-earned finances according to their values and objectives. They’re successful in their life and career, but they aren’t sure how to make the most of their assets.

My goal is to help people create opportunities to build, protect, and distribute their financial resources so they can work toward their goals. Using a holistic and collaborative approach with my clients, I like to see myself as a financial quarterback. I bring together the right people, including CPAs and attorneys, to help ensure everyone is working as a team toward a common goal.

I like to take the time to get to know each client on a personal level, understanding what makes them tick, what they want to accomplish in life, and what matters most to them. I ask the questions many people haven’t considered and spend a lot of time listening. By developing and maintaining such close relationships with my clients, I have the greatest opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. 

Ultimately, I believe clients choose to work with me because of the strong relationships we build together. Often, the trust between us exists on a level that only their closest loved one can provide.

The Triumphs and the Hurdles

There are plenty of challenges that come with this job. Owning a business and handling those many responsibilities alongside the services I provide my clients takes a lot of work. However, I can’t imagine having a different career. 

I work hard every day to make sure I’m doing the right thing by my clients and community. There’s no greater feeling than when I can see all of our hard work come to fruition. It’s amazing to see a client achieve their comfortable retirement or reach the goals they’ve been working toward for years.
